General Information and Ordering
Prints:
Prints are made using premium quality paper with a luster finish, and archival (pigment) inks.
Standard print size varies according to the photograph, and is determined by the relative dimensions of the image, and by its resolution and sharpness. For most photographs, the size of the printed image is about 9.5 X 14 inches (about 24 X 36 cm), printed on 11 X 17 inch paper. In some cases, standard print size is smaller, while in other cases larger prints are available up to about 12 X 18 inches (about 30 X 46 cm). Prints may be ordered in custom sizes, with the orginal proportions of length to width maintained. Please enquire with any questions about standard or custom sizes for individual photographs.
Images have been adjusted for printing so as to remain true to the spirit of the original photographs and to the scenes and images that they represent. All photographs have been taken in ambient light without flash. Images have not been altered to introduce elements absent from the original photographs. In a few photographs minor extraneous elements have been removed.
Prices:
Prints: $49 USD. (Price is the same for all print sizes.)
Prints matted in white and framed in white or black: $95 USD. (Price is the same for all sizes.)
Prints with custom mats and frames: Price determined by details of order.
Mats and Frames
Prints are available matted and framed, using a simple but elegant combination of a beveled white mat and smooth white or black frame. (In general, a white frame is recommended, because white is an ideal neutral color that allows the picture to speak for itself; but a black frame works well for some images.) Custom mats and frames are also available.
